Members of the Tortola Sports Club elected new and incumbent officers to serve on the TSC Committee at the 2025 AGM held at the Clubhouse on February 26.
Newly elected members include President Richard Starkey, Vice President Percy Rhoden, Secretary Scott Bryson, Treasurer Simon Hiemstra, Tennis Captain Chris Smith, Squash Captain Paul Cowlard and Fundraising Secretary Greg Boyd. Re elected officers are Membership Secretary Tony Campbell, Social Secretary Hannah Fee and Communications Officer Sofia Fay.
“On behalf of the newly elected committee members, I share our combined enthusiastic commitment to manage the TSC to the best of our abilities. We will continue to develop the sports club with a focus on expanding the facilities and services to best serve the TSC membership and attract new members interested in pursuing their personal health and fitness goals in a welcoming environment that offers the best opportunities and value for money,” said Starkey, who returns to the position of President after a 6-year hiatus.
Recognising the outgoing officers, Starkey commended Mike Adamson, who served as President for 6 years and several years as Squash Captain, Mark Chapman, who served as Treasurer for 13 years and as President for 7 years, Ed Childs, the TSC Secretary for 13 years, Patti Romney (VP), Laure Wigglesworth (Squash Captain), and Reva Daulo (Tennis Captain) for their time and service to the TSC.
