Men’s Final 
Joe Chapman bt 
Danny Henderson 11-5, 11-1, 11-2
Joe was ‘on it’ from start to finish. It was apparent he had a very clear game plan to get in front and to look to attack down Danny’s backhand side (Joe’s forehand). He executed the plan with great precision and managed to stop Danny getting a foothold in the match. This was great exposure for 16 year old Danny!
Women’s Final
Zoe Sorrentino bt Laure-Astrid Wigglesworth 11-1, 11-5, 11-1
Following 2 tough wins against Erika and Mandi on her way to her first final, Laure ceded to Zoe who proved why she has won the event so many times with a very accomplished performance!
Men’s 3/4 Play Off 
Garreth Donaldson bt Dion Anselm 11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7
Dion has been competing in the latter stages of this event for years and the first time in the event for Garreth. Both are very strong around the middle and it was a battle to control that area of the court. Garreth took a very important 3rd game which tipped the scales in his favour on his way to an impressive 3-1 win to claim 3rd place in his first BVI Nationals!
Women’s 3/4 Play Off
Delilah Pease by Mandi Atack 11-9, 11-5, 11-4
A real battle of youth vs experience with the 2 players looking to use different strategies to unsettle each other. After a tight first, Delilah managed to maintain leads in both the 2nd and 3rd to close it out 3-0.
Women’s Plate Final 
Erin Anderson bt Erika Sorrentino 11-7, 11-8, 11-9
Awesome to have both Erin and Erika back playing regularly with more improvement expected for both over the coming months with more court time!
Men’s Plate Final
Jakob Noblett-Diaz bt Chris Pease 11-9, 11-9, 5-11, 11-8
A very mature performance from young Jakob. Chris has been playing well recently and had 2 solid wins on his way to the Plate Final… but Jakob managed to play with nice variation and executed the big points well to close it out 3-1.
